an acquaintance

Here to blog again~ =)

i happened to meet an acquaintance from nyjc on bus ytd. Then talked abit.. To my surprise she's also solely teaching tuition with 3 students at hand. Of course we share some experience..

She told me the parents are quite protective to their children, once even telling my friend not to be so fierce. i was like.. OMG.. quite shocked to hear that. Cos my those parents all STRONGLY ENCOURAGED, if not nagged, me to scold and be strict to them. I had even went to the extent of caning. HAHA. The parent still asked me to cane harder lor. So when i heard from her experience, i feel really fortunate that my parents aren't those modern mums who spoilt their kids rotten.. WHEW~ The parents i met are all quite hospitable to me.. still buy me biscuits frm M'sia and invite me to her son's birthday. haha so nice of them :)

Right now.. i had scolded most of my kids before.. ( HAHA as much as it may seem unbelievable) It's only RIGHTFUL for teachers to be strict I feel. But they know me quite well, so there's no hard blood between us la. haha. The next lesson they will stil play with me and won't be afraid of me (although sometimes i wish they could.) >.<

We exchanged nos when i was abt to alight, then i realised i forgotten to ask for her name! haha silly.

I received documents from Nus ytd too, a big package.. still need to do what medical check-ups and all.. a lot of things waiting to be done. so strange.
